Preparing to Adopt
2-day workshop meets pre-adopt education requirements for both international and domestic adoptions. Small group format offers discussion, tailored support, & connection with other adoptive families. Topics: adjustment to parenthood, attachment, openness in adoption, child development, and resources.
Co-facilitated by a therapist specializing in post-adoption support and a pediatric nurse who is also an adoptive mom. $250 per family, Register here.

Adoptive Parent Support Group
Join a network of adoptive families to share challenges and celebrate milestones. Discussion topics determined by the group. Common themes: talking with kids about adoption, child development, family relationships, when to seek specialized support, and mindful parenting.
